  • Guest speakers from health professionals and community organisations.


Social Support Groups organise regular outings for clients to attend community concerts, picnics in the park, local clubs, and movie screenings.

We also offer in-home and centre-based diversional therapy services for clients who require more individualised lifestyle activities.

Who is the Social Support Group program for?

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, you must be still living at home and are 65 years and older (or 50 years and older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), in the Brisbane North and Caboolture Regions.

Social Support Groups are also offered on a fee for service basis to people with a Home Care Package or NDIS plan.

How to refer

To access our Social Support Groups, phone My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 to arrange for an assessment.

If you have already been assessed and have a referral for this service, or you’re already a client of Footprints CHSP, Home Care Package or NDIS programs, please contact our friendly Aged Care Services team to discuss the program.
